The library is progressing consistently and is serving the literary requirements of the undergraduates and staff of the College of Fishery Science in Udgir. The students preparing for the ICAR Fellowship and other competitive examinations significantly benefit from the resources of the college library.
Administration: The University Library is the Central Library is headed by the University Librarian whereas the College Libraries are managed by the relevant Library Assistants or In-charges from the colleges. The college library committee is established to ensure the efficient operation of library services.
Space: The library is established on the first floor of the college building, encompassing an area of 791.03 m², built to accommodate various sections for the provision of efficient services.
Library usage: The library is often accessed by the college's students and teachers. The library possesses an extensive and valuable collection in the topic of fisheries to meet users' demands for both general information and syllabus requirements. In addition to print books, e-books and e-journals, it also offers a limited quantity of newspapers. In addition to reading, library members are also permitted to borrow books from the library. Students may borrow books from the stack section for a period of seven days, while staff members may borrow them for a period of ten days. Books from the reference section are issued overnight, while exclusively reference books such as encyclopaedias, yearbooks, and dictionaries are not issued outside the library and are available for reference only within the library.
